Hong Kong

Made by Janet, Elizabeth, and Sumen J band class

Hong Kong is located under China. It is in the eastern Asia. It borders the South China Sea and China. Hong Kong has a population of 6,898,686, which is a lot considering that Hong Kong is small. Hong Kong’s tropical climate is cool and humid in winter, hot and rainy from spring through summer, and finally warm and sunny in fall. Some natural hazards that exist in Hong Kong are typhoons. It has lots of fresh seafood and the new Disney World has open on September 12, 2005.  It is the smallest Disney world so far.

WHAT WE LIKED ABOUT HONG KONG......

Hong Kong’s food is very different from the food that we eat here at America.  My favorite food that I learned about was dim sum.  Dim sum is like finger food.  They bring it out in carts and you can pick which dim sum you would like to eat.  It is usually about three dim sum on the plate that they serve it on.  Usually people drink tea with dim sum.  People call this yum cha.  A kind of dim sum is called hot pot.  The hot pot is served on a cart and the food is steamed in a bamboo steamer.

Hong Kong’s best attraction is Disney World.  There Disney World is the smallest one they ever built.  In this Disney World there are three parts to the park. There are the adventure land where it is like a safari and all the water rides are, fantasy land is like living in your own happily-ever-after and is made up of imagination and enchantment where dreams come true, and there’s the tomorrow land where the rides are about space, science and a step into the future.

My favorite topic in Hong Kong are actors, actresses, singers, and more. Some people who are popular both here and in Hong Kong are Ron Ng, Gillian Chung, Kelly Chen, Stephany Tang, Nicholas Tse, Alex Fong, Charlene Choi, Edison Chen and much more. All the people that I have just mentioned are either actors or actresses but they are all singers. They all sing pop music and many people listen to it.
